Care for children from the first days of life
Paediatric and neonatal care covers a child’s health from the first days of life. During the visit the doctor takes a history, examines the child and — if needed — refers for further diagnostics.
We care for healthy children (check-ups, prevention) as well as sick children, and provide ultrasound diagnostics for the youngest.
Tests ordered by the paediatrician (full blood count, CRP, bilirubin, urinalysis, allergy tests) can be carried out at Sonar Clinic, including in newborns and infants, by staff experienced in working with children. Tests are provided without a referral, at a booked time, at the Sonar Clinic sample collection point; the collection fee is PLN 11 (PLN 20 for children up to 8 years of age), and test prices are listed in the sample collection point price list.
It is a periodic, comprehensive assessment of a child’s development and health — measurements, examination and a discussion of development and vaccinations. It is carried out at defined ages.
For symptoms of infection, worrying changes in behaviour or development, and preventively — for health assessments and consultations on care and nutrition.
A neonatologist cares for the newborn in the first weeks of life — assessing development, supporting parents and, if needed, referring for further diagnostics.
Yes. Paediatric care includes transfontanelle (head) ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound.
